Will our field footage and recordings stay confidential?
We don't share your data with anyone else, and we don't run ads or ad-tracking on this site. Uploaded files and generated deliverables are currently kept on our servers indefinitely - we don't yet have automatic deletion after a fixed period, so if your program handles sensitive material, ask us (or use the "Your data" section in Settings) to delete a file or your account data at any time, and we will.
Can we pay by bank transfer to fit a grant disbursement cycle?
Yes - bank transfer is a real payment option on every plan, though it's the one method that isn't confirmed automatically (a real person confirms once the transfer lands). It's also the standard billing method on our Enterprise plan for organizations with an ongoing relationship.
What if our recording is in Kikuyu, not Swahili?
Kikuyu goes through an extra manual transcription step, since no speech-recognition model handles it yet - a real human transcriber types the source by ear. Translation and voicing after that run the same AI-plus-human-review pipeline as everything else; Kikuyu orders just cost a bit more per minute to cover that real labor.
Is there a discount for a large volume of program content?
Yes - Pro is 10% off every per-minute rate for $19/month, Premium is 20% off for $49/month, and Enterprise is a negotiated volume rate with a dedicated account manager and bank-transfer billing. The first 5 minutes every month are free on every plan.
Do you require consent before cloning an interview subject's or community leader's voice?
Yes, always - if a dub needs to sound like the original speaker rather than a standard voice, we require your explicit confirmation of rights and consent before that ever runs. It's enforced server-side, not just a checkbox in a form.
